Professional dancer born on March 3, 1989 in Mexico City with a career of more than 15 years. ​

 

Currently she is one of the greatest disseminators and defenders of the Tribal movement in Mexico and worldwide, giving workshops in several states of Mexico, strengthening the roots and unity of the mexican tribal community. ​

​

She has participated in the most renowned events in the field of Tribal Bellydance, Fusion Bellydance and Oriental Dance at a national and international level, sharing the stage or dancing with the leading figures of these disciplines.

 

She studied Philosophy at the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, with a specialization in Philosophy of Religion.

 

​She began her artistic training from an early age in disciplines such as artistic gymnastics, jazz, music and singing. ​

 

In 2006 she discovered the world of Tribal Fusion Bellydance, her training and formation was completely self-taught.

 

In 2007 she began her studies in Oriental dance with teacher Terpsícore Hernández and Natalia García at the Zarah Oriental Dance Academy.

 

In 2012 he began his self-taught studies in American Tribal Style (ATS®) now FatChanceBellyDance®Style (FCBD®Style) and in person with Lore Rojas in 2014, at the same time in the same year he began his training in Improv Team Sync ( ITS) with Fabiola Wong and in Técnica Reda with Natalia García.

 

​ She continues his training with multiple national and international teachers, complementing his dance with various genres and styles, taking workshops and short courses, but always respecting the roots of each style.

​

She was part of several dance companies, for example she was a member of the Zarah Ballet from 2012 to 2019.

 

​Initially, together with Ballet Zarah, under the guidance of Natalia García, they performed in important spots; in 2015 was one of the groups chosen to dance in front of the Egyptian dance legend Farida Fahmy.

​

Moira was selected as a guest dancer in the Show with Rachel Brice in 2014 and also in the Show with Mira Betz in 2017, both dancers pillars of Tribal Bellydance and Fusion Dance internationally. ​

 

Moira is a full-time teacher with more than 10 years of experience, director and teacher of "Tribal Studio.Escuela de Danza Tribal Bellydance y Fusiones" since 2017, one of the few schools in Mexico dedicated to the professional training of dancers in these styles. . ​

 

Founder and artistic director of “Tribu Elementum” since 2017, a dance company dedicated to spreading the philosophy and vision of Tribal Bellydance. ​

 

In 2018 she won the call as a guest dancer for "Sueño Tribal" with the innovative artists Piny and Leo Orchidaceae, an event organized by the dancer and producers Lorena Rojas and Fabiola Wong.

 

She was also chosen to be part of the tribal cast of the global company Bellydance Evolution (BDE) during her stay in Mexico, made possible by Mohammad Producciones de César Insaurralde in the show "FANTASM: 1001 nights" held at the Teatro Ferrocarrilero in October 2018. A production of Jillina Carlano and Luna Poumian. ​

 

In 2019, the virtual and physical store "Tribal Madness" opens, a company dedicated to the import of specialized costumes and jewelry for tribal bellydance.

​

During the time of the pandemic, she provided regular and specialized online classes to national and international dancers, as well as actively participating in virtual events in several countries.

​

​In 2022 she was again chosen for the Bellydance Evolution production "The Jungle Book"  in Mexico, but this time with a starring role, Kaa, the snake. ​

​

In 2022 she began the creation of her own group improvisation language called ELEMENTUM DIALECT®, based on the philosophy of the four elements of nature and the zodiacal archetypes.

 

Also in 2022 she participated as a star dancer in Belly a La Mexicana, a production by dancer Daniela Gómez that seeks to exalt mexican bellydance in all its manifestations. ​

 

Again in 2023 she participated as a star dancer and co-director of Belly a la Mexicana in its "Tribute to Bellydance Superstars" edition.

​

During 2023 she was invited to important productions such as "Hercules: Gods of Olympus" by César Insaurralde and as a guest dancer with the Spanish band Mago de Oz at the Arena Ciudad de Mexico  along with Kambrah Gil and Dafne Inssane.

 

In 2024 she was invited again to Bellydance Evolution's production of "The Jungle Book" in Guatemala and for the European tour in Krakow in Poland and Frankfurt in Germany, in all participations as  featured role.

 

​She also participated as a national star dancer and gives a workshop alongside great current fusionist figures as Kremushka and Kira Lebedeva at the "The Show must go on" Festival in Guadalajara, an event by Katia Ivonne Morales. ​

​

During June 2024, complete the FatChance BellyDance®Style General Skills & Teacher Training certification to obtain the Certified Studio degree under the direct teaching of Carolena Nericcio (creator of the style), DeAnna Padrón Freeman and Lore Rojas in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

 

Moira assumes dance as her destiny, her life, her existence, she conceives this art as creation, manifestation, internal and divine connection. ​

 

She takes her stage name from Greek mythology, triple manifestation of destiny (Moiras) ​ ​

 

Moira Krone is a multifaceted and eclectic dancer characterized by fusing with different dance and musical styles, always investigating deeply and respectfully about cultural and ideological roots.
